It was my son's machine, and strangely has decided that it no longer wants to connect to the internet wirelessly. It does still connect to live if you use a cable, but my sons bedroom is too far from the router for that to be a permanent solution, so we've bought him a new console rather than having a cable trailing up the stairs all the time. Other than that the system is working perfectly. Reads discs fine, it's not banned from live or anything like that. I'm guessing the little card inside needs to be replaced or something.
